"Our textile journey began in 1984 and today..."

"It was in 1984, when Jaromír Hrazdira as a newcomer joins the market department in one of the largest wool manufacturer in Europe. After his first year here, his journey in the sales department begins. Already at such a young age, he understands the fundamental importance of the textile industry and perceives its potential."

10 years later, Jaromír decides to start his own business and at the end of 1995 the STEP AGENCY Limited is established. Today, his son David also works here, as next generation. The company has built a strong position in the market and provides a multi-service portfolio.

The textile industry is a vast and dynamic sector that encompasses the production, design, and distribution of a wide range of textile materials, including fabrics, yarns, fibers, and apparel. This means a constant need for work. Because as fast as new technologies are coming, so are new production and processing options. As a supplier, we must always know them first.

After his first year in textile fabric, his specialized journey in the sales department begins.

First official visit of Jaromír to an international textile fair in Germany (Frankfurt on the Main).

｢ 1989
First business trip to the United States. Building own network of international contacts.

｢ 1995
On Tuesday, December 12, the company STEP AGENCY s.r.o. was founded as a textile agent.

｢ 1996
First offices and trip in Paris trade fairs. Acquiring the first significant partner in the Czech Republic.

｢ 1998
The first significant partnership for a government tender and the first business trip to Australia.

｢ 1999
The company acquires strategic partners in China and India. Internal control and testing system.

｢ 2000
Transformation from export activities to import activities. Expansion of customer groups.

｢ 2003
The company is expanding to Slovakia and other regions and is gradually increasing its reach.

｢ 2008
The start of a major business collaboration in England with a significant international reach.

｢ 2010
Moving to new offices in Brno. Implementation of internal "up to date" sample system.

｢ 2012
Expansion to Austria and then a year later to Hungary. Further expansion of segments.

｢ 2016
Launch of the company's first ever website and its official entry into the online space of socials.

｢ 2018
The second generation joins, the son David Hrazdira. First business trip to China for partners visit.

｢ 2019
Expansion of the service portfolio. High increase in demand for recycled materials.

｢ 2020
The Covid-19 pandemic is also affecting the textile industry. Segments fall, but also grow.

｢ 2021
Post-pandemic period. Company is intensively focused on effective modernization.

｢ 2023
The company is a provider of high-quality, sustainable and innovative materials and products.
